Who is MO ?

My name is Mohsen Ben Cheikh. I’m a commercial & advertising photographer based in Tunis, specializing in product, food, industrial and architectural photography. 

After several years in Paris, working for PackshotCreator, the world leader in automated packshot photo production solutions, honing my technical skills in product photography and commercial marketing, I moved back to Tunisia and launched my own photography studio - MO PHOTO.  

Combining my innate passion for the visual arts and my academic training in industrial design, I strive to meet the individual needs of my clients by providing high-quality images that capture either the essence of a product, or a mood/emotion that the product elicits.

I don’t photograph things, I photograph the way they make us feel.

I have been very lucky to work for various and diverse clients and with remarkable art directors, computer graphic artists and set designers, to provide high-impact photography media - look-books, portraits, service billboard campaigns, social media image banks and more. 

I have worked for all types of businesses from small scale start-ups to large industrial companies. I’ve lead more than 200 training sessions in photography production techniques.

I’ve worked in very diverse conditions, from photographing diamonds in Parisian undergrounds, luxury hotel hammams  in the Tunis medina, to chasing shadows in Costa Rican rainforests. 

I always learn new things and meet different people, and that’s what keeps me doing what I do, the best way I can.
